OUT TODAY ON BEATPORT: GHEIST – SALVATION
Berliner-based electronica live act GHEIST put forth two attention-grabbing tracks in their third release for Exploited, enlisting the aid of fellow producer and singer-songwriter Bayker on vocals and providing a cinematic experience to the EP, in the shape of a Gautier-produced video.
Eponymous track Salvation kicks off proceedings, showcasing a deep tech exploration with late night dancefloor appeal. The original exposes a gradually unfolding piece, boasting a clean cut rhythm section and a methodical, straightforward structure centered around minor chords.
Last Night In Paris reveals a dark brooding arrangement, as reflective vocals add a layer of mystery to the foundation of pensive pads and warped synths. What ensues is a contemplative atmosphere, that is mesmerizing as it is dance-inducing.
GHEIST kickstarted their young career last year and since then have grabbed attention from DJs and Media all over the place which led into a busy touring schedule including upcoming gigs at Razzmatazz Barcelona, Watergate Berlin, Sonne Mond Sterne Festival and many more club and festival appearances.
