Listen to the exclusive premiere of one of the tracks from the EP – entitled “Blurred” – and read our short interview with the man himself.

Early support by Jimpster, Laurent Garnier, Dusky, Erol Alkan, Claude Von Stroke, Pete Tong, Virus Syndicate, Simon Baker, Pig&Dan, Tensnake, Karotte, Adana Twins, DJ W!LD, El Txef, Peter Kruder, Adesse Versions, Ossie, Hackman, Virus Syndicate…

“Feels like Christmas when Copy Paste Soul visit Exploited. ‘Flare’ throws out enough heat to blaze a hearth through an Icelandic winter, all popping effects like chestnuts on a brazier and thick Aran jumpers muffling the hyper-jacked kick. Did I mention the soaring, psycho strings ? Thought not. ‘Blurred’ is a jittery, head on concrete beat fest that concusses you with its sheer, unbridled piston power. And to close ? ‘Gotta Know The Truth’ takes it down a notch in tempo yet amps up the weird for a percolating, penny whistle prompted walk on the wonky side. Did I say that it feels like Christmas ? I lied. It feels more like home.” (http://www.dmcworld.net/features/entry/house/copy-paste-soul-flare-exploited.html)

On March 14th 2016 one of the UK’s most talented rising DJ/producers Copy Paste Soul returns to Exploited with his brand new EP entitled “Flare”.

This outstanding three-track offering follows the Londoner’s acclaimed “Home” release on Exploited last year, and further releases on imprints such as FCOM, Gruuv, Intec plus his very own 2 Swords Records.

As ever, the soul drenched warmth usually found in his productions sit across all three tracks here, as he continues to advance his signature sound that comprises Detroit Techno, US garage and D&B into a left of centre broken sound. Building on his recent “In Focus” on Intec, Copy Paste Soul delves deeper into his techno past offering up an EP with rave inspired low-end bass goodness.

“Flare” is out on 14th March on Exploited.
