Joyce Muniz’ anthemic “Sleepless” has been bouncing around the underground DJ circuit for around two years now, but the tune has shown no sign of stopping its reign over house sets across the world. Exploited Recordings has put together a new remix package to update the tune for today’s dance floors – including stellar takes from German Brigante and Russ Yallop – and Magnetic Magazine is proud to exclusively premiere DJ T’s own take on the track.
This DJ T remix retains the blissed-out atmospherics of the original, engaging them underneath a throttling bass line and rolling hits for an ecstatic breakdown. While the original track is led by Angelique Bianca’s vocal, DJ T whittles it down, making for a fantastic late-night gem around her distant echo.’
