Tel Aviv’s Kadosh has put out stellar work on labels like Innervisions, Diynamic, Disco Halal, Multinotes plus his own label Frau Blau. He now makes his debut on Exploited Club with a very tasty double pack that fits together beautifully.
‘Fa Fa Fa’ is a nagging slice of deep techno where morse-code bleeps mesh with a Rastafarian vocal by Laroz, eerie organ chords and a throbbing groove. The organs explode into a cascading, head-spinning melody after a tense, almost ambient breakdown, creating a mystical, magical feel.
‘Fantasia’ builds slowly through a dramatic minor key bass line and shimmering metallic fuzz to suddenly explode into life with a stunning, sorrowful main riff that rocks a distorted 8-bit electro vibe. Spacey pads swirl in the subtly spine-tingling breakdown which teases before exploding back into the good stuff via a powerful clap fill.
