Berliner-based electronica live act GHEIST put forth two attention-grabbing tracks in their third release for Exploited, enlisting the aid of fellow producer and singer-songwriter Bayker on vocals and providing a cinematic experience to the EP, in the shape of a Gautier-produced video.
Eponymous track Salvation kicks off proceedings, showcasing a deep tech exploration with late night dancefloor appeal. The original exposes a gradually unfolding piece, boasting a clean cut rhythm section and a methodical, straightforward structure centered around minor chords.
Last Night In Paris reveals a dark brooding arrangement, as reflective vocals add a layer of mystery to the foundation of pensive pads and warped synths. What ensues is a contemplative atmosphere, that is mesmerizing as it is dance-inducing.
GHEIST kickstarted their young career last year and since then have grabbed attention from DJs and Media all over the place which led into a busy touring schedule including upcoming gigs at Razzmatazz Barcelona, Watergate Berlin, Sonne Mond Sterne Festival and many more club and festival appearances.

Is it possible that we just discovered our coolest find yet on this drag of a Monday? It might be, as James Curd has just about everything cool to offer us on a personal level: composer, skateboarder, synth collector, and a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur. And believe it or not, that’s without the cool factor he creates in his music.
