What a great 2011. There is too many things to mention – so I just keep it short. I thank all my artists for the great music they made me release this year and especially i want to thank all our fans and supporters. We have got big releases lined up for 2012. Meanwhile here is a mix which I do every year – selecting the tracks I have played out the most. I am going to upload the playlist in the next weeks. Meanwhile – I guess you know most of the tracks in there anyway. Followers of my radioshow might have heard the first 120 minutes already on Radio Fritz December 27th. However, now it’s available for download. Happy New Year! SHIR KHAN X EXPLOITED. SHIR KHAN’s BEST OF 2011 MIX by SHIR KHAN

After their recent success with their latest remix for Homework’s track “I’m Into This” on Exploited which has been holding a strong position in the Beatport house charts for the last 3 months, Andre Crom&Martin Dawson suggested to make a guestrelease on Shir Khan’s Berlin imprint Exploited. Here it is: A peaktime oldschool house roller with a kicking remix by Homework. Already highlighted by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, Solomun, Axel Boman, Round Table Knights, Hot Chip and dOP.
Martin Dawson has been absolutely smashing it for the last 12 months, with some very successful releases and collaborations with some of the best labels in underground house and tech including Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, 2020vision, Off Recordings, Moodmusic and Pets. Notably his Sunday Smoking album released late last year was a huge success, with a number of charismatic, melodic house and deep tracks aimed at the dancefloor, as well as some beautifully crafted downtempo soundscapes more fitting with a lazy sunday afternoon.
Andre Crom’s coproductions with Martin Dawson „Gonna Be Alright“, „In the City“ or „About You“ were instant hits on Decks, Beatport and Resident Advisor as well.
