Andre Crom & Martin Dawson: Need U Back (Skit) | Exploited by Exploited
After their recent success with their latest remix for Homework’s track “I’m Into This” on Exploited which has been holding a strong position in the Beatport house charts for the last 3 months, Andre Crom&Martin Dawson suggested to make a guestrelease on Shir Khan’s Berlin imprint Exploited. Here it is: A peaktime oldschool house roller with a kicking remix by Homework. Already highlighted by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, Solomun, Axel Boman, Round Table Knights, Hot Chip and dOP.
Martin Dawson has been absolutely smashing it for the last 12 months, with some very successful releases and collaborations with some of the best labels in underground house and tech including Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, 2020vision, Off Recordings, Moodmusic and Pets. Notably his Sunday Smoking album released late last year was a huge success, with a number of charismatic, melodic house and deep tracks aimed at the dancefloor, as well as some beautifully crafted downtempo soundscapes more fitting with a lazy sunday afternoon.
Andre Crom’s coproductions with Martin Dawson „Gonna Be Alright“, „In the City“ or „About You“ were instant hits on Decks, Beatport and Resident Advisor as well.

The Exploited Fam was united this weekend. First stop Hamburg at Peacetanbul – good turkish food with the Kebab brothers Adana Twins – later Baalsaal. Next stop Berlin to celebrate with Cocolores and Homework Tom’s birthday at Soju Bar. Tom did some proper Karaoke Business in the small room. Baby G from Dance Disorder was playing dope music. Then hit it off at our Exploited Labelfloor at Ritterbutzke. Party was packed and crowded and didnt stop until 10 in the morning. Everyone played amazing sets – from Jack Tennis, to myself Shir Khan:), Cocolores and Martin Dawson. See you next year! This was our last party for 2011. Check some of the pictures (after the jump) and videos to see Cocolores playing + Tom from Homework doing the Karaoke-man.
